Profile
I turn practical mechanical problems into clear designs, thoughtful prototypes, and useful test plans.
Education
B.S. Mechanical Engineering
Westbridge University · Expected May 2027
Experience
Mechanical Design Intern
Northline Fabrication · May–August 2026
- Updated bracket drawings and assembly notes after reviewing shop-floor feedback with a design engineer.
- Compared mounting concepts for adjustment access and documented the checks needed before fabrication.
- Organized revision notes so the team could connect each drawing change to its original issue.
Selected projects
Inspection camera support
Individual course design study. I compared a shallow section, a deeper section, and a diagonal brace. The brace occupied the work envelope and added another joint. I selected the deeper section for further development because it increased bending stiffness while keeping the underside open.
Thermal test fixture
Fixture layout and test-protocol lead in a four-person course team. I replaced two adjustable stops with a fixed datum edge and a removable end stop. That reduced the number of settings the operator needed to recreate. A shallow sensor channel kept the lead routing outside the sample contact area.
Adjustable sensor bracket
Concept selection and drawing-review exercise. A fixed-hole plate was simplest to machine but offered no adjustment. A sliding rail added parts and cost. I chose a two-slot plate with a separate locating surface so the fasteners could lock the setting without acting as the only datum.
