resume brief / a proper conversation, at your pace

Better information.
A better resume.

You do not need polished writing. Give us honest detail: the problem, your contribution, your decisions, and the evidence. Rough bullets are welcome.

Your brief and selected files are submitted securely after payment or a private invitation. You can save your answers and return later. Do not include passwords, identity documents, or confidential material.

resume brief questions

01 / resume brief

What are you aiming for?

The same experience can support different stories. Tell us which one this resume needs to tell.

Be specific: mechanical design intern is more useful than engineering.

Industry, team, company size, work environment, and what you want to do more of.

Paste the text or a public link. Tell us what you match and where you do not yet have experience.

For Two Directions. Explain how it differs from the first.

For Two Directions. We need a distinct target, not just a different company name.

City/region only, remote or relocation preferences if relevant.

We confirm delivery timing after reviewing your paid brief. Ask us before purchase about a fixed deadline.

What are we starting with?

We carefully improve your existing resume, retaining what works. If you do not have one, we build it from your factual answers. Do not upload identity documents or private employer files.

An existing resume is preferred. For a bundle, a resume already uploaded with your portfolio brief does not need to be attached twice.

PDF preferred; DOCX accepted. Files upload securely when you submit.

With an upload, describe anything missing or changed. Without one, include education, roles, organizations, dates, projects, responsibilities and skills. Rough bullets are fine.

What has changed since then?

Too long, too generic, missing achievements, changing careers, weak project descriptions, or formatting.

Support each with experience rather than just a trait.

Find the evidence in your experience.

Add relevant roles, internships, volunteering, or independent work. If you have none yet, say that in your resume outline and focus on projects.

04 / resume brief

Bring your projects into the story.

A good project bullet says what you owned, how you approached it, and what the evidence supports. Add the projects most relevant to your target.

05 / resume brief

Education, skills, and credentials.

Give exact names and dates. We will not turn a course or interest into a qualification.

Institution, program, qualification, start/end or expected completion dates. Include relevant coursework and honors only if accurate.

Exact credential, issuer, completion date, expiry, and verification link if public.

For each important skill, where have you used it? Mark beginner, working knowledge, or strong experience honestly.

State your real proficiency. Do not include citizenship or identity documents.

Title, date, your role, and public source if available.

Courses, training, or independent study. Distinguish in-progress from completed.

Help us decide what deserves space and what can be shortened.

06 / resume brief

Handle the nuance thoughtfully.

Share only what you are comfortable sharing. We do not need private medical, family, or identity information.

What transferable experience supports the new target?

Use neutral professional context. Personal reasons for gaps are optional.

Relevant projects, leadership, technical depth, customer work, research, or other priorities.

Outdated content, home address, confidential figures, irrelevant details, or sensitive context.

Check the claims before we edit.

A stronger resume should be easier to defend in an interview.

For each metric, give the source and whether it is measured, calculated, estimated, or uncertain.

Dates, titles, metrics, team contributions, credential status, or project outcomes.

Say “none” if all content is yours to share. Otherwise explain what must be generalized or removed.

Set the delivery priorities.

The service includes PDF and editable DOCX files after review. This brief itself downloads as text or a reusable draft.

File type, page limit, required sections, naming conventions, or application instructions.

Usually you. Send one combined list per correction round, up to three rounds.

Questions, concerns, or an important detail not covered above.

Final check

Read it once before you share it.

Check names, dates, ownership, metrics, and permissions. Missing evidence is something we can discuss; invented evidence is not.
