Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, professional history, project details, goals, preferences, and uploaded resumes or media. We also retain order identifiers, service selections, payment status, customer communications, revision requests, and limited technical records needed to operate and secure the site. Public pages send first-party page views that are stored only as daily aggregate counts by page, approved campaign tags, and a broad referral category. These analytics records do not contain a visitor ID, IP address, full referring URL, or raw browser details. We remove aggregate records older than 13 months during routine traffic or dashboard activity. Analytics is skipped when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. If you arrive through a campaign link, short source, medium, campaign, and content tags may be carried in page links and saved with the Stripe Checkout session to tell us which campaign led to an order. We do not use these tags to collect your browsing history. If you follow a referral link or enter a referral code before payment, we also save that code and commission bookkeeping records for the sale. With your permission, a signed first-party cookie remembers the referral for 30 days on this browser. Without that cookie, referral tags can travel in on-site links during browsing. Referral partners are not given access to your private brief or files.
Do not submit passwords, API keys, government identification numbers, banking information, a full home address, sensitive medical information, confidential employer documents, or material you do not have permission to share.
Prepaid group purchases
For group purchases we record the organization, purchaser email, agreed packages and price, payment confirmation, credit redemption, verified member email, and fulfillment progress. The purchaser can see code redemption status but does not automatically receive members’ private briefs, files, or review links. Members receive verification and order-service emails. Prepaid codes have no scheduled expiry. Verification links expire after 30 minutes. We keep limited verification and delivery records to secure redemptions and recover access.
How we use information
We use information to save a draft at your request; evaluate, prepare, deliver, revise, and support your service; process and reconcile payments; prevent abuse; communicate with you; and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information or use customer material to create fake testimonials or unsupported claims.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to host and protect the site, store submitted material, process payments through Stripe, and exchange business email through Google Workspace. These providers process information for their respective functions under their own terms and privacy notices. Card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and are not stored by Portfolio Studio.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not publish a client’s portfolio, contact details, resume, portrait, or other material without the client’s approval or another valid authorization.
Retention and security
Saved-draft links expire after 30 days. Active-order material is kept while work is in progress and for a reasonable period afterward for delivery, revisions, recordkeeping, and dispute handling. Payment and transaction records may be retained longer when required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections, limited file types and sizes, and payment-provider checkout. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so only provide information needed for the service.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete information associated with your order by emailing us from the address used for the order. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records that we are legally required or reasonably need to keep. You may use a downloaded local draft instead of online draft saving.
Children and changes
The purchasing and intake service is intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian must submit or authorize information for a minor. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above shows the current version.
