Agreement and eligibility
By purchasing or submitting a paid or pilot brief, you agree to these terms and the posted Refund Policy. You must be at least 18 or have a parent or legal guardian place and manage the order.
Service and scope
Your package includes the deliverables and revision rounds described at purchase, together with any written scope we confirm. New websites, stores, custom applications, substantial new content, or post-launch maintenance are separate unless expressly included. Delivery timing depends on receiving complete, usable material and timely feedback.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of facts you supply and for having permission to use names, images, documents, employer information, trademarks, and other content. Do not provide unlawful, infringing, deceptive, confidential, or malicious material. You must review and approve content before publication.
Our standards
We will not invent credentials, employment, testimonials, results, or guarantees. We may refuse or remove material that creates a privacy, security, legal, or reputational risk. We do not guarantee interviews, employment, sales, search rankings, or other outcomes controlled by third parties.
Payments, revisions, and refunds
Prices shown are in U.S. dollars and are one-time charges unless a separate recurring agreement clearly says otherwise. Payment is processed by Stripe. Revisions must stay within the purchased scope and be submitted as a consolidated list when requested. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy.
Ownership and third-party services
You retain ownership of the original content you provide. After full payment, you receive the final deliverables and any source files promised in your package, subject to third-party licenses. Portfolio Studio retains its pre-existing tools, reusable methods, templates, and know-how. Domains should remain in the customer’s own account. Hosting, fonts, images, software, payment services, and other third-party products remain subject to their own terms and availability.
Liability and disputes
Services are provided with reasonable care, but the website and third-party services may occasionally be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, Portfolio Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or third-party decisions. Our total liability for a claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Please contact studio@portfoliostudio.co first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in North Carolina, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
Changes
The terms in effect when you purchase govern that order unless we both agree otherwise in writing. We may update the website terms prospectively, with the effective date shown above.
Prepaid group packages
A group quote becomes payable only after Portfolio Studio approves its quantities, price, and terms. Prepaid credits are issued after verified payment and each covers only its stated package. There is no scheduled credit expiry. A credit may be distributed before claim; once claimed through email verification, it is reserved to that member. No further service payment is required for that package. Separate domain, paid hosting, or additional scope is not included unless the written group agreement says so. Group refund or cancellation requests must be reconciled with already claimed or delivered work and applicable law; contact studio@portfoliostudio.co before distributing credits if terms need to change.
